Illustration Friday: Sprout

Spent the weekend putting paperwork together so I can intelligently talk to Mr. Turbo, the taxman in a box. Out of that exercise sprouted this little drawing...
Time to get those magic beans working on a little money shrub.

Peace to you all, and may good things sprout for you.

Yeah, I hear you there. Looks like you got to work early on your taxes and still managed to get some great art made!

If I were the tax man my mouth would be watering right now, and I hope the handsome shrub is exempt.
Glad to see the grim task of working on your taxes didn't interfere with your creative juices.

Don't know what I would do without Mr. Turbo!
I really love the shine on the pot. Dang - your pieces always have the most fantastic lighting.

Ugh...taxes...I like how they inspired your work though. And I missed your Super Hero entry - it's wonderful! I often wonder what animals dream of and now I know. :-)

Ah...Money doesn't grow on trees - it grows on plants! Send a couple seeds or bulbs my way.

I will glady purchase a packet of money beans if you happen to have a good crop! I like the gritty texture of your illustration and the little dollar sign. Clever! Now.... work those deductions!

I always admire the simplicity and style of your backgrounds, lighting, and textures... it never seems to matter what the main subject in the illo is. I know they are not all that difficult once you find a good combination of tools, it just takes time to find them.

You have put yourself in a bit of a social bind. If you keep the plant to yourself, it will be hard to wish others well with a good conscience. On the other hand, if you share clippings, seeds, or any other form of propogation with too many others, the economy will get oversaturated and the value of the crop will vanish. Hmmmmm. /:-P

Peace!

Hi Twisselman,

Oh yea, the tax man cometh. I gotta sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that something bad is going to happen since our last deduction moved out in 2005.

Cool illustration. I need a money vine also.
