Illustration Friday: Skyline
Half-completed deal. Was gonna put a panoramic skyline of the neighborhood... six or seven houses, trees, etc. Yeah, 'coulda, woulda, shoulda...' Anyway, another hectic week.
So I must thank all those who've visited this blog... and respectfully ask pardon for not having the time to get my fix of all the reg'lars I visit. Hopefully this coming week will allow some breathing room. I'll get back into the swing of things some day.
Peace to you, and may your skyline be free of exploding missiles. (This has been an upsetting day in parts of the world)

The placid looking hamlet is in stark contrast to the stormy sky-not bad weather but world crisis filling the horizon. Poignant and love the artwork as always.
I love the contrast between b/w line drawing and stormy skies. Peace to you and your neighborhood, indeed.
I actually think this may look better than if it was all colored. I love B&W work that includes just a little color.
Have a great weekend!
The first thing I saw today when I turned on the computer was a photo of burning fuel tanks at Rafik Hariri International Airport in Beirut. It never ends.
There is something very calm and peaceful about your illustration...I like that the houses are simple lines against the full, atmospheric sky. It looks like at there, all is well with the world.
I hope your weeks begin to calm down and leave you more space for fun things:>
this half completed work is magic..the sky is fantastic...great!!!!
So beautiful. Wow. The contrast of the sky vs the simple lines of the landscape is great. Love the use or no use of colour ... very effective. ; )
elegant and lovely!
sometimes as artists we just don't know when to stop working on a piece, your "half completed" work really emphasizes the sky as well as the houses. Everything looks so inviting.
I love your simple black and white drawing with the swirly sky above.
Believe it or not...I like it as is!! GREAT job, and quite beautiful!
Sorry I missed last week! I have been having an AWFUL time with my Internet connection! GRRR!
