Here's to that quick-change artist, Clark Kent (aka: Kal-El, 'Star-Child'). As I was drawing this, I was wondering, how the heck does he tuck that big ol' cape into his pants?
Peace to everyone, and don't change just for the sake of change.
So funny, like the way his eyes are saying, just a sec while i get this pesky shirt off and i'll save the world, great subtle skyline to. Beautiful cool!
You've nailed that "I better do this quick before anyone catches me" vibe here! His face is perfect...great combination of strong hunk and geek. Wonderful work!
Another 'super' illo - pun intended. I was considering a take on Superman, but just couldn't get it work out. I like the colors here, especially the subtle background. And I also see a slight resemblence to your avatar.
Noticeds the resemblence as well. I'm going to be up all night contemplating the cape issue. If'd just take E's advice and drop the cape this wouldn't be an issue.
How wonderful, I love reading all the comments, very entertaining and I agree whole heartily with everyone. It looks like you, the coloring/shading superb and of course your take on the subject of "change".

Good question about the cape, how about those special shoes he wears. Do they fit inside his wingtips?

Super change!
Splendid, fabulous job with the paranoid expression, love the feel of this whole piece.

Great idea! And done amazingly well. Sort of looks like Twisselman? Should have put "T" on the chest! Thanks for all your great entries.
Awesome! and right how does he tuck that cape out of sight.
Nice one!
Fabulous! I agree with illustrationblog. I'm missing the "T" on his chest. Bravo!
I see a little of you here...a great idea for "change" and well done!
Honest, folks, I had no intention of putting any Twisselman characteristics into this fellow. Believe me, there's quite a bit more girth to my middle.
This is a very nice Superman.
I envy so much your lighting skills... But is good envy. =)
The ultimate "Change". Glad someone thought of it. Great stuff!

I love this guy! Very sexy "change" artist.
Smooch,
The Tart
; )
Ps. Send him over ... I can't get the top off my Gatorade bottle. *wink*
Hee! this is great! I always wondered about the cape in the pants too. must have looked like a toddler with puffy diaper bunched under its pants.

Ready for action any time! I expect he wraps the cape under his shirt to keep him warm.

I love the overall look to this. Super, man.
Nice illo!
Intentional or not, this is you! You may have some girth (as do I), but in every man's mind rests the physique of a superman.
