Wonderful quote...I love the tall thin format here and that you managed to say so much with just a few shapes and lines. Great texture on the grass, too!

This is so good. There is a simple and elegant beauty to this. I think the heart is often overwhelmed in the city and retreats, in the country it's safe to venture out again. I love the quote, so right for this piece. Ummm, beautiful artwork and idea!

Very nice; the quote really makes it.

The "Peace and quiet to all" wish makes me think of "What About Bob?"

"...I'll be peace." :-)

Love it!
This, for me, best sums up 'quiet'.
If ever i feel i have had enough of the chaos of city life, I can always find peaceful solitude out in the country. A little get-a-way like the hut in your picture is just where i'd like to escape to.

Beautiful, observant thought, and beautifully rendered.

Lovely illustration and beautiful thoughtful sentiment. My daughter lives in Boston, and I feel such a sense of relief to get back to New Hampshire after being crushed in subways with all those lonely people.
